Why I use Cauliflower with Sweet Potato
Cauliflower is another versatile veggie. And the good thing about cauliflower is their flavor is very in-distinguishing that means they don’t carry a strong flavor. Their blunt flavor reduce sweetness of sweet potatoes and together they create a perfect balanced sweetness for savory dish.
Quick Notes :
I prefer to boil my Sweet Potato into water on stove top. It took about 15 minutes but if you don’t have enough time, do it in microwave. Its better not to over boil the SP. Also when you mashed it don’t mash it like creamy mashed potato. left some chunks, it will taste better.
I use green Chili, but you can omit it and increase ground pepper’s amount according to your taste. Some time I use cilantro/Coriander leaves, you can add that too if you like cilantro.
