We need very few items to make this Watermelon salsa with Tangerine. Obviously the main two ingredients are Watermelon & Tangerine. Watermelon contains 90-96 percent water of its weight. Watermelon and Tangerine both are high in vitamin A & C. Both are low in saturated fat and sodium. Both of them are naturally very sweet so no extra sweetener needed. If you like binge eating but worry to gain weight then this salsa is the perfect solution.

Why We need to take Vitamin C daily:

We all know how important vitamin C is for our body. Not only to boost our immune system but also to rejuvenate our body cells & tissues. But human body cannot produce vitamin C naturally and since vitamin C is water soluble, our body cannot store it for a long time. That means we need to maintain our daily dose of vitamin C.

In summertime we sweat a lot, that means extra water with some minerals get out from our body. This watermelon tangerine salsa is a very delicious way to put back some vitamin c in our body.

Side or Main!

This salsa also compliments any other savory dishes. Some time I put this watermelon tangerine salsa on side of my bean rice or on the side of lentil fritters. It best goes with my oven baked potatoes. If you are not a vegan or vegetarian, you can have it with fish & meat too. And if you like me, you can just have a big bowl of this Watermelon salsa with tangerine as a main dish 😉
